Whalley Abbey- The Assheton Conference House
The Assheton House built on the foundations of the Abbott's House at Whalley Abbey by the Assheton family after the Dissolution when they purchased Whalley Abbey from the Crown. Now used as a Confernce House and Retreat by the Parish of Blackburn.
